Update 2/25/2023 - The project is moving forward! Construction on this project is starting March 3rd, 2023. Due to the generous grant from Home Depot we have secured supplies and a contractor. There are still some extra costs that will need to be covered so we encourage donations to help defray them.
Update 1/30/2023 - As some of you may know, over the past few months, our own Adjutant Jim Clark has been organizing the building of a wheelchair ramp to assist our comrade Kenny Bouche and his wife. Kenny was a Vietnam era warrior and a member of the 1st Calvary Regiment during the events featured in the book Search and Destroy by Keith Nolan.
As of a few days ago, Home Depot has approved a grant that partially funds this project. This is a huge step forward on making this ramp a reality. Thanks Jim.
We will keep you posted as this project moves forward.
Many thanks to Home Depot for supporting this project as well as veterans in general.
